Zimbabwe to Tackle Climate Change, Economic Growth, and Human Capital Development at 2025 World Economic Forum

Zimbabwe’s Finance, Economic Development, and Investment Promotion Minister, Professor Mthuli Ncube, will lead the country’s delegation to the 2025 World Economic Forum Annual Meeting in Davos-Klosters, Switzerland, from today upto the 24th of January.

The meeting, themed “Collaboration for the Intelligent Age,” will bring together global leaders and heads of state to discuss pressing issues. Professor Ncube revealed that Zimbabwe’s focus will be on climate change, economic growth, and human capital development

Professor Ncube emphasized the importance of effective governance of carbon credits and exploring new sources of economic growth driven by innovation, artificial intelligence, biotechnology, and human capital.

In his remarks, Professor Ncube stressed the need for Zimbabwe to upgrade its citizens’ skills to keep pace with technological advancements.

The 2025 World Economic Forum Annual Meeting provides a unique opportunity for Zimbabwe to engage with global leaders and stakeholders, fostering collaboration and investment in key sectors.
