Vice President General (Rtd) Dr. Constantino Chiwenga arrived in Dushanbe, Tajikistan, yesterday to attend the Third Dushanbe Water Action Decade Conference (June 10-13).
The conference, co-hosted by Tajikistan and the UN, brings together global leaders and water experts to address sustainable water management.
Leading the Zimbabwean delegation, VP Constantino Chiwenga stressed the importance of water management amid climate change and the need for international cooperation. Zimbabwe and Tajikistan have maintained diplomatic ties since 1992, focusing on economic diplomacy and shared interests as developing countries.
