MASVINGO, Zimbabwe — Tourism operators from Victoria Falls have mounted a strong presence at the 19th Sanganai/Hlanganani Dzimbahwe World Tourism Expo, showcasing the resort city’s diverse accommodation, adventure, wildlife and leisure offerings as the four-day tourism showcase gets underway in Masvingo.

The City of Victoria Falls is among the exhibitors using the expo to market the destination, highlighting the city’s growing tourism product and its position as Zimbabwe’s premier tourism hub.

A number of leading Victoria Falls tourism players are also on the exhibition floor, including Shearwater, Saflodge, Mbano Manor Hotel and other hospitality and tour operators.

Mbano Manor Hotel is showcasing its luxury hospitality offering, with its stand highlighting the property’s distinctive accommodation experience and its proximity to the natural and cultural attractions of Victoria Falls.

Saflodge is also promoting its hospitality and tourism offering, joining other operators in positioning Victoria Falls as a destination capable of catering for different categories of travellers.

Meanwhile, Shearwater is putting adventure tourism firmly in the spotlight, showcasing its iconic Zambezi experiences, including white-water rafting and other adrenaline-filled activities that have made Victoria Falls a major adventure tourism destination.

The exhibition stands are visually capturing the essence of Victoria Falls, with striking imagery of Victoria Falls itself, wildlife, luxury accommodation, the Zambezi River and adventure activities being used to engage buyers and visitors.

The strong Victoria Falls presence comes as Zimbabwe seeks to expand domestic, regional and international tourism markets through increased collaboration between destinations, operators and tourism buyers.

For exhibitors, Sanganai/Hlanganani Dzimbahwe is more than a showcase—it is an opportunity to build business connections, package tourism products and attract new visitors to Victoria Falls and Zimbabwe.

As Day One unfolds, the resort city is making its presence felt, with its tourism industry presenting a united message: Victoria Falls has much more to offer beyond the waterfall.
