Victoria Falls Sports Academy Set to Participate in Minerva Zimbabwe International Open Chess Tournament

The Victoria Falls Sports Academy has confirmed that two of its players, Princess Ncube and Tadisa Mutero, will be participating in the Minerva Zimbabwe International Open Chess tournament, set to take place in Harare from July 31 to August 4, 2024.
Additionally, two arbiters from the academy, Mqondisi Ndlovu and Kripo Chivhenge, will also be attending the tournament.
In a significant boost to the tournament, Minerva Risk Advisors unveiled a sponsorship of US$7260 to support the event ahead of the tournament’s opening today.
In an interview with Breeze FM, Victoria Falls Sports Academy Head Coach, Mr. Nqondisi Ndlovu, expressed his excitement about the academy’s participation in the tournament.
The tournament promises to be an exciting event, bringing together some of the best chess players from around the region. With the support of Minerva Risk Advisors, the event is set to be a success, promoting the development of chess in Zimbabwe and beyond.
