Simba ends Manica’s Unbeaten Run As Chirinda Scores Again for Ngezi

Simba Bhora moved to third spot on the Castle Lager Premier Soccer league table after they secured a narrow one nil victory over Manica Diamonds at Wadzanayi Stadium yesterday.

Mthokozisi Msebe’s first minute strike in the first half of the game was enough to end Manica Diamonds’ 5 game unbeaten run in the league which saw Jairos Tapera side slip from second to fourth spot on the log.

Meanwhile, Obriel Chirinda continued his clinical form in front of goal as the striker got his 4th goal in 4 games to help defending champions Ngezi Platinum beat Arenel 1nil and climb to second spot on the table, only two points behind leaders FC Platinum.
