SADC Chairperson, President Emmerson Mnangagwa, is set to chair an extraordinary virtual summit of heads of state and government on 13 March 2025 to discuss the security crisis in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC).
According to SADC Head of Communication and Public Relations, Barbara Lopi, the summit will provide updates on the latest security situation in the DRC and deliberate on recommendations from the Extraordinary SADC Organ Troika Summit held on 6 March 2025.
