Ramsar Convention Invites Photographers for Wetlands Exhibition in Victoria Falls

The Ramsar Convention on Wetlands is inviting photographers worldwide to participate in an exhibition titled “Celebrating Ramsar Sites: A Visual Journey through Wetlands” in Victoria Falls.

Photographers are encouraged to capture the beauty and ecological significance of Ramsar Sites, promoting a greater appreciation for the role wetlands play in maintaining the health of our planet. The goal of the exhibition is to foster conservation efforts for future generations.

Submissions are open until February 28, 2025. A distinguished jury will evaluate the entries, with selected works displayed at the 15th Meeting of the Conference of Contracting Parties (COP15) in Victoria Falls from July 23 to 31, 2025. The best images will also be featured at the Ramsar Secretariat and in a global news story.

The Ramsar Convention is a treaty focused on the conservation and sustainable use of wetlands.
