President Mnangagwa Congratulates Mauritius’ New Prime Minister Dr. Navin Ramgoolam

President Emmerson Mnangagwa has congratulated Dr. Navin Ramgoolam on his recent election as Prime Minister of Mauritius.

In a statement issued on Wednesday, the president applauded the peaceful and transparent electoral process in Mauritius, noting it as a strong example of democratic values in the region.

He conveyed his message on behalf of Zimbabwe and the Southern African Development Community (SADC), expressing confidence in Ramgoolam’s leadership to strengthen Mauritius and contribute positively to the SADC region. He also highlighted the potential for Zimbabwe and Mauritius to deepen bilateral ties and explore new areas of cooperation.

The message emphasized Zimbabwe’s support for regional stability and Mnangagwa’s optimism about the opportunities this leadership change could bring for both nations.
