Miss Universe Zimbabwe Board Chairperson Hails Sakhile’s Historic Achievement

The Miss Universe Zimbabwe Board Chairperson, Mrs. Colonel Miniyothabo Baloyi Chiwenga, has praised Sakhile Dube’s groundbreaking performance at the Miss Universe pageant in Mexico, where she made history as the first Zimbabwean to reach the top 30.
Mrs. Chiwenga described Sakhile’s achievement as a source of pride for Zimbabwe and an inspiration to young girls aspiring to excel.
She lauded Sakhile’s dedication, which placed the country on the global stage and paved the way for future contestants.
While expressing disappointment that Sakhile didn’t make it to the top 12, Mrs. Chiwenga commended her poise and commitment.
Sakhile Dube has since returned home to a hero’s welcome, her achievement leaving a significant impact and continuing to motivate young women across Zimbabwe.
