China-Africa Partnership Built on Shared Growth – Dr Murwira

The Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Trade, Professor Dr. Amon Murwira, says the China-Africa partnership is entering a new era of strategic cooperation rooted in mutual development.

Speaking at the Forum on China-Africa Cooperation (FOCAC) in Changsha, China, Dr. Murwira praised the leadership of President Xi Jinping, noting that China’s removal of tariffs on African imports will boost trade and create new opportunities across the continent.

The Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Trade also said China and Africa are pushing for a multilateral global order under the United Nations system, one that promotes fairness, justice, and shared prosperity.

He noted that the summit yielded important agreements focused on expanding trade and advancing sustainable development.
