Bulawayo hosts culture month celebrations

Bulawayo successfully launched the culture month yesterday at Amakhosi Cultural centre which was the venue for this year’s commemorations as well.

This year’s cultural celebrations are being held under the theme, “Our Culture, Building Zimbabwe Brick by Brick”, which underscores the role of culture in national development.

Speaking to SkyzMetro FM in an interview on the sidelines of the event yesterday, National Arts Council of Zimbabwe (NACZ) Provinvial Arts Manager, Cleopatra Dube said that there is need to continue conserving our culture, heritage and roots which define us on who we are as a nation.

The national culture month celebrations will be held tommorow at Chisumbanje’s Marega Primary School in Chipinge, Manicaland province where Vice President Kembo Mohadi is set to grace the event.
